Taylor & Steffy are the good girls

Yeah, I said it. And in my honest opinion, I think they are good, pure, kind and terrific. Douglas belongs with Thomas. Hope wouldn't even have now if she and Brooke hadn't manipulated Thomas when he was at his lowest darkest place. And Brooke smacking down Taylor for wanting Ridge? Well, karma..... How many occupied men hasn't Brooke snuggled up to over the past 35 years? Couldn't even keep her hands off her daughter's husband. She deserves it. She even pushed Hope on Liam when he was with Steffy. Those two demand that others respect them, but they've never respected anyone else their whole lives. If Taylor & Steffy are full of themselves, then there are no words to describe Hope & Brooke.
If you compare the four of them I'd say Taylor was written as the "good girl" to Brooke's "bad girl", at least up until a certain point, although Taylor is a HUGE hypocrite because she ain't no saint..
Brooke is the BEST in the hypocrite department… isn’t she demanding respect for HER marriage NOW after she restlessly chased after MANY married men and wrecked so many marriages, including her owns she disrespected ?
But Steffy is the good girl to Hope's bad girl? No way. Not in any way, shape, or form. Not on any universe. Hope is a saint compared to that manipulative, mean, vengeful, shrieking, hateful witch.
Until a certain point Hope a was the good girl and Steffy the new Brooke, chasing after who she wanted no matter what …. BUT after Steam first marriage ended, Hope CEASED to be the good girl
After SHE had dumped him, Hope threw herself at Liam when he was living with Steffy
Hope tried to trap Liam in a shotgun wedding
Hope threw herself at married Liam when he just lost his child
Hope had a emotional affair with Liam and secret meetings when she was married to his brother and was expecting his baby
Hope pursued Liam when his (yes I know cheating) wife was pregnant
Hope s halo vanished a long time ago
Hope's not perfect, but she's NEVER needed two paternity tests due to cheatings/adultery.
She's NEVER banged her FIL and kept it a secret.
She's NEVER chased/seduced multiple married/engaged/taken men like Steffy did a married Bill/engaged Liam/taken Liam(with Ivy)/taken Oliver(with Hope).
She's NEVER blackmailed multiple people like Steffy had.
She's NEVER been triger happy shooting someone or actually killed anyone either.
I'll take a flawed Hope over witch Steffy anytime.
At least Steffy isn’t an hypocrite.
Steffy goes after what she wants but she shows clearly who she is and doesn’t stab in the back people she claims to love like Brooke.
The worse snakes on the show are Hope who plays the saint when she isn’t and Brooke who is demanding respect for her marriage when she showed NONE all her life
Steffy is a HUGE hypocrite. She has the audacity to throw Brooke's kiss with Bill in her face. BILL! who Steffy let crawl all over her when she was married to his son.

Bill was mentionned among SO MANY others
Steffy PAID for her affair with Bill. Brooke NEVER pays

Why do Steffy and Taylor always have excuses but Brooke must pay till the end of time?

Brooke never really pays. Eric consoled HER about Breacon and soon after she got rewarded getting her claws on Ridge.
TPTB gave Taylor and Steffy some excuses. There was none for Breacon or Brill IMO

I disagree that Steffy and Taylor's past was excused on the show. For the most part it's just ignored...which is what makes them look like giant hypocrites when they get in other people's faces. I mean, we're talking about attempted murder in Taylor's case.

I agree about that although her motives were understandable. Taylor’s crimes were always motivated by her concern for her children not selfish or self serving acts like Brooke’s for exemple

And Steffy went after taken men like it was her job.

That is OLD. In the last decade it was HOPE who chased after Steffy s husband more often

A prosecutor would use that as motive in a case against her. It's not a defense.
I couldn't disagree more that Hope chased after Liam. Liam left Steffy because she had sex with his father. Even AFTER that Hope encouraged him to go back to her.

She said she wanted to be there as a friend but when he told her he was ready to forgive his wife she showed her true motive. Hope told Brooke she was pining for Liam the whole time she left didn’t she ?
Basically Hope did what Taylor is doing now …
The only difference is Ridge told Taylor he wanted to be back home and kissed her while Hope pursued Lim when he didn’t want her there

You're leaving out an important part. Hope told Liam that he should forgive Steffy for what she did with Bill.
Hope: I mean, part of me would like to pick up again where we once were, but... that's not gonna happen. I mean, it's impossible now.

Later, when Liam thought he shot Bill and was spiraling, Hope saw that being with Steffy was not good for him. That's when she changed her mind about supporting their marriage.

So suddenly wrecking a family was fine ?

Of course Hope was pining for Liam. He's the love of her life. They would have been married if Steffy hadn't manipulated them. Doesn't that actually prove that she's a good person? She encouraged him to go back to his wife for the sake of their family even though she was still in love with him.

Hope pretended she wanted to do the right thing but ultimately did the self serving thing
Reminds me of Brooke planning to marry Nick to put the baby first … but ultimately choosing herself before knowing the baby was Ridge and letting Nick in prison .
Intention vs ACTS

It was shown that Hope changed her thinking. It was when she saw Liam spiraling and realized that Steffy was toxic for him. I didn't see anything to indicate she was pretending.
