Honestly Surprised Brooke Didn't Storm the Gate

I mean yeah it is but they don't like Brooke so I can understand them not wanting her to spoil the party.

Who's "they"? The only Forresters who don't like her are Steffy and Thomas. Taylor isn't even a Forrester. And everyone else in the family, including Douglas, loves Brooke. Not to mention that Donna could have come home anytime, so that would have been even more reason to invite Brooke.
But even if Donna wasn't living with Eric, Brooke would have had much more right to be at a Forrester family dinner than Taylor Hayes and even more than Finn. The only way anyone could have justified Brooke's absence would have been a dinner party with no one but Eric, Ridge, Thomas, Steffy and Douglas, those who were actually born with the Forrester name. Extending the invitation to spouses and even ex-spouses meant there was no excuse to disregard Brooke. The way the show is treating Taylor like a Forrester while painting Brooke as an outsider is just sickening.
