Honestly Surprised Brooke Didn't Storm the Gate

I'm surprised Brooke didn't book it over to Eric's the minute Hope told her there was a dinner party going on. Given how insecure she's been, I figured she would've come barrelling in the door to remind the whole room that Ridge is her husband and as such she's a Forrester too. She's all about staking her claim and she's rarely passed up an opportunity to interrupt a party she wasn't invited to just because she think she should have been invited. Nobody not even Eric wanted her there so I am glad she had the decency to stay away.

I'm sorry, Brooke has been insecure? Exactly when and how? Who was the person who left Ridge alone after going to see him exactly once and who is the person who has been slobbering all over him, wearing revealing clothes and going to see him every chance she gets? Who is the one who keeps bad-mouthing her rival and who is the one who simply isn't bothered about her rival?

The one who is insecure is not Brooke. It's Taylor, as shown by her constant need to bring up Brookes history and put her down. Brooke has not stooped to that level though I wish she would. Play dirty with dirty. Brooke has been written as the most mature one on screen for months now.
