Steffy's not stupid. It's not like Taylor turned her against Brooke. She already didn't like Brooke. Now she has an alternative for her father.

Steffy only dislikes Brooke when Taylor is around. There have been plenty of alternatives for Ridge -- Shauna, Caroline, Katie, etc. It's funny. When Taylor isn't on the show, Steffy and Brooke actually get along. And Steffy loved Brooke before Taylor came back from the dead.

Exactly! Steffy never urged her father to leave Brooke for any other woman who was in love with him, like Shauna, Quinn or Katie. It's only about Taylor. If Brooke had always made Ridge's life hell like Steffy made it sound last week and if she had just been waiting for an alternative for her father, then why didn't she have anything to say when Ridge got interested in all these other women or when Ridge was single and trying to break up Brooke and Bill?
Looks like Brooke can't be that bad if Steffy thought she was good enough for Ridge before Taylor came back to town and better for him than all the other alternatives. It's so obvious that Steffy trying to push Taylor on Ridge has nothing to do with being concerned about her father's happiness, it's all about getting what she and her mother want. Taylor is always the one who actively turns Steffy against Brooke. Whenever she's out of town, Steffy has never had a problem with Bridge's relationship. On the contrary, she has even acknowledged more than once how much happiness Brooke keeps bringing into Ridge's life. But as soon as Taylor is back in LA, Brooke is suddenly the enemy that needs to be fought.
