Seems to me Taylor's neither scheming or manipulating because she's being very upfront with Brooke.

So Brooke is the only person that can be schemed on or manipulated on for Taylor to be scheming and manipulating to get her husband? Cause there's other people I think she can scheme and manipulate on besides Brooke. But I happen to think her "being up front" as you call it. Is a scheme and manipulation.

Don't you have to hiding something to be scheming? It's not a very good scheme if you straight up tell the person you're plotting against that you're plotting against them.

Yes. She's hiding from Steffy that she's using her to get Ridge. She's been using Steffy ever since Steffy was shot but the smart, intelligent Steffy has no idea that she's being made to dance on her mothers tunes like a puppet. Manipulation at its finest.

She also never told Steffy that the MC kiss came about because Ridge saw that photo of Brooke with Deacon. She's led Steffy to believe it was spontaneous and therefore has more meaning than it does.

That is Taylor though. When she talks she lies. Either outright or by omission.
