Wow - well that’s crazy!
Thomas - and Taylir pushed Douglas on Hope for multiple reasons.
Hope took him, adopted him, went up against her husband at times for him, has been raising him when his grandmother and aunt were too consumed with their problems to take care of their own blood. (this child who lost his mom suddenly)
Ridge has said many times how much he appreciated Hope.
Hope, Donna Brooke have all shown that boy more care than his family.

Valid points. Just how much time has Ridge, Taylor or Steff spent with Douglas?

Thomas and Douglas were coming to the cliff house for a BBQ, but after Ridge hurt Taylor's feelings, she just left and went to the bar to put her feet up and talk to Deacon. :neutral
