Nope. Ridge has zero leg to stand one. He’s been canoodling with Dr Dumb and expects his wife to be ok with it? Nope nope nope. Deacon is Hopes dad. Why is Brooke expected to accept Taylor....who shot Bill and trafficked a baby with ZERO CONSEQUENCES....but Ridge can’t acceot Deacon around?

Sorry, Ridge gets zero pass here. His awful daughters life should not come before his wife...and him thinking it’s ok to be snuggling with Taylor the dunce, is hypocritical when he demands that Deacon stay away.

I don't think Ridge expects Brooke to be ok with the kiss, but yes, he expects her to be ok with everything else because she has been tolerating that close friendship between him and Taylor for decades. Deacon however has never been Brooke's friend before, except for those few months in her addiction storyline while Ridge was married to Caroline. Ridge never had to deal with Deacon as a part of Brooke's life before. Brooke was even glad herself that he was far away from their family. It's a totally different situation to accept a new friendship between your spouse and a person you hate than a friendship that already existed when you got married.
