That's a fair point. She didn't say she would stay away but I think that's a reasonable implication of banning him from the property.

I don't think so. He's Hopes dad. It's reasonable to think Brooke will have some form of contact with him. She promised it wouldn't be on her property and that should have been enough for Ridge.

What she actually promised Ridge when they had that talk at Eric's house was that she wouldn't have a "relationship" with Deacon. Of course that doesn't mean she can never speak a word to him again when they happen to run into each other somewhere or that she can't contact him when there's anything wrong with Hope or her kids. But it definitely includes hanging out with him at the office when Ridge is out of town. And that picture, combined with the stupid caption that left out important details about the context, made it look like this was exactly what they were doing.
