BellaSole, you have said better than I did what I think. I do think she does need to step up her game to be a suitable partner in every way for Eric at this stage in his life. No more sharing half a tiny desk with Pam…not that that would be even considered. I just mean Donna hasn’t really challenged herself…it’s time she does. Before he was off with Quinn, when he was a more or less recurring character, I thought Donna and Carter would have been a nice pairing…two pleasant, somewhat low key people. But that’s all shot now!

Thank you for the sweet compliment, Grannysmith, but I think you say things a lot better than I ever could. I once thought Donna would be paired with Carter, too, but now, I would cry if BB ever paired sunny, happy Donna with morose Carter. I admit, I don't like Carter. I'm not one to approve of adultery, though I know Donna was a cheater, too. I have no excuse for loving Donna and no liking Carter other than her personality is just so much more inviting and appealing. I think she'd be a good, loyal friend, and I love the fact that she really loves Eric and always has. I think it was a mistake for them to ever divorce, though I understand why Donna felt betrayed. The Logans all loved their mom so very much, and Stephanie, while she didn't push her into the pool, was so cold to poor Beth.
