Hope was super annoying today

The whole Hope angle was completely contrived just so she could catch Donna and Eric. If Hope had to go to the club for Douglas and Eric told her he was going there, why didn’t they carpool? It would have made perfect sense since she had to talk to him anyway. But no, she stays behind and has a meaningless conversation with Quinn just so that Eric has a head start, and THEN follows him to the club where of course she conveniently knew exactly which room he was in. Why couldn’t whatever she had to discuss wait until she saw him at the office again? Who follows their boss to a club uninvited to discuss work? It would have made a lot more sense if she went there for Douglas and completely coincidentally happened to see Eric and Donna there too. Much less contrived.

I don't think she had any idea which room Eric was in. Or if, in fact, he was in any room. It looked like she was walking down the hall and heard Eric's voice coming from one of the rooms.
