It is not Hope's responsibility. And Deacon isn't the problem. The problem is Steffy can't control Finn's feelings. Finn is a grown man and he's going to feel whatever he feels no matter what Deacon tells him.

The joke is Hope knows something before Steffy and spent some quality time comforting Steffy’s hubby!

Lol, I can't wait to see Steffy's face when she realizes Deacon was right. What are the chances she'll apologize to him? I'll answer...zero!

I’m SO looking forward to that followed by Finn saying Sheila has changed just like Thomas did!! :lol
