Steffy doesn't know how to listen

Steffy just needs a break /a huge break/ from the whole "Sheila" topic.

I need a break from Steffy and her rudeness.

I am so tired of her. It's always the same. It's not just Sheila. First, it was the parent trapping and, more recently, the Thope story. Even when I agree with her, the way she treats people is atrocious. You get a few minutes of sweetness with her and Finn and then back to yapping about whatever the issue is this week. If you had told me five years ago I would hate Steffy, I would never have believed you. She was my main reason for watching. But now I want to fast forward when she comes on screen.

The Steffy character is a born bully and not likeable to begin with. IMO. The show just made it way worse by having this nasty character inserted in every single major storyline for the last several years which only made this viewer despise her even more. I think the show really should back burn this insufferable character for a good lone while and allowed Bill or Liam or the Spencer family to be front and center for a change!

That may also be part of it. The show used to have more balance. Stephanie was a bully, but she had other characters tell her about herself. It didn't change her, but it was refreshing when it happened. I don't know. Maybe with CBS's renewed interest in daytime soaps (The Gates), they will offer budget increases which will allow for just a few more characters

I will never forget Taylor telling Stephanie that the reason Stephanie hated Brooke so much was because Brooke could give Ridge the thing that Stephanie couldn't. That was the one time Taylor said something halfway intelligent. And she was actually right.
