Wth was the point of Zenduna's one-night-stand????

Let me get this straight....
Luna isn't pregnant. It would have come out by now if the plan was a WTD story. That night happened 60 episodes ago. It's too late for that.

No karma for Zende except a quick punch. No one really said what needed to be said. Zende didn't have history with Luna, she and RJ were still together and Luna never asked him to come so I don't see parallels with Caroline/Thomas. Rape or not, Zende knew Luna was already in a committed relationship and he still sexed her up. But there is no payback.

RJ already forgave Luna. Not that there was anything to forgive, but still. It doesn't even seem like this night will have long-term consequences for them. Unless Zende knocked her up and it's not the case.

Zende professing his love for Luna is too much out of character.
It took him months to profess his love to Nicole and then they had a long, fulfilling relationship and marriage. Who can take this undying love for Luna seriously. He doesn't even know Luna, and he was "in love" after 2 scenes with her? Now you see why Hope took her time to admit she loves Thomas... it makes her way more convincing than these insta love declarations. How does Zende go from a triangle 10 years ago with Nicole and Sasha (who were the same age as him back then)... to a twenty years old virgin??

Now RJ and Luna basically backburnered and by the time they're back in a storyline, all this crap with Zende will be long forgotten.

No consequence for Poppy either. Now Li will be dragged into this Sheila mess again. How original. Poppy and Bill went nowhere. Luna's paternity mystery went nowhere and I'm starting to think it was completely dropped. What's the point? She is still taking her pills as far as we know.

One of the most useless, pointless storylines ever. It tainted Zende and made RJ and Luna even more wooden and bland than they were before. Other than that?

I thought Brad Bell saw RJ as the new Ridge? I don't see it. Young Ridge was a philanderer, with class, sex-appeal, charisma and a strong personality. At least that's how he was described for a long time.

All RJ does is meddle with other relationships that are none of his business (he spent weeks trying to convince Liam to forgive Hope for example, it annoyed me)
.... and sing Luna's praises and repeat over and over that he never met anyone like her. Wasn't he saying the same about Coco 10 years ago? I don't see Ridge 2.0 here. He is more like a sleepy, degraded version of Liam. I sure hope Bell doesn't see RJ and Luna as Bridge 2.0 because it's not even close. And I'm not even a Brooke fan, but come on.. comparing Luna to Brooke?

Here is my opinion. This story has blown up in their faces. Someone thought this would be a great story to tell, but I guess the writers didn’t know or remember that this type of story has been told over and over again. Ridge in particular would look like a hypocrite confronting Zende because he intentionally seduced women while they were drunk and he betrayed his father twice, and his brother. Brooke was a victim of Eric and Ridge. In this case, Luna went to Zende’s bed and told him she wanted him. He had no way of knowing she was hallucinating. However Ridge and Eric and Thomas went to the women’s beds and should have known better for real. All this talk about betraying your cousin when Forester men have betrayed fathers and brothers is ridiculous. Added to that Runa is a bore and they should have put Paris in the story and not Zende who should be hanging out with Fab 5 and not the teenyboppers. This story is in my top five for worst story ever told on a soap. There is nothing wrong with Luna being a virgin but RJ also violated her in my opinion by talking about her sex life with family. I am horrified that in 2024 this show still uses this overused trope.
