He hasn’t changed or he would have understood that Hope wasn’t ready for marriage. Instead he got mad, hurt & left, taking their son with him, knowing how much that would hurt Hope!! That’s the same egomaniac, obsessive, wanting control over Hope, that he’s always been. And, how many times in the past has his family said, “Thomas has really changed”, only for him not to have done so? I mean, I’m not saying it’s not possible, but actions speak louder than words, and IMO, his actions do not reflect full redemption. And Sheila, ugh, we’ll see what they do with that…. :whistle
