I'm amazed that Hope was so unready to marry Thomas but she put all her eggs into one man basket this way. Her line, her family, her sexual gratification, and her emotional gratification.

I don't get what made her so careless like this. She claims that she was being more careful, but I would think that would be making sure she didn't risk so much.

Now she has nothing. That might be enough to make her want to get married now....

Hope was so sure of herself, never in her wildest dream, she could imagine that Thomas would actually walk away from her. This obsession has been going on for a while, and Hope knew it.

IA, that is what I saw with Hope all week until the very end of the show today....she was dead sure she could snap her fingers, drop her drawers, and bring him to heel.
