Putting all your eggs in one man basket

I'm amazed that Hope was so unready to marry Thomas but she put all her eggs into one man basket this way. Her line, her family, her sexual gratification, and her emotional gratification.

I don't get what made her so careless like this. She claims that she was being more careful, but I would think that would be making sure she didn't risk so much.

Now she has nothing. That might be enough to make her want to get married now....:whistle


I can't decide which mattered more to her, losing her sex toy or losing her designer. But, the one thing that seemed not to matter at all to her was losing Douglas. Not one word of "no, please don't take Douglas away" or "I won't let you take him from me"....not one single word. I actually thought we were going to see her getting upset when he said he was taking Doug with him. Nope. She just said "you can't leave" and then tried to kiss him to get him to have sex with her....I am assuming....because they are standing in their "boudoir" and it has always worked for her before to shut him up, or get him to do as she wanted.

Nah Brooke didn’t seem upset about Doug….I think her career is more important than Beth too
