I think never Thopers might get a break

Do you feel like that was wrong? I've only heard one other person point out how badly Hope treated Liam in the marriage and then during the breakup. Yeah, it's Steffy but everyone else acted like Liam was overreacting to a little kiss. He told them over and over it was more than that because he could see for himself that it was more than a kiss. I wish Wyatt was still around because he would come around to understanding why Liam left. I don't care for Steffy but I'm glad someone finally said Hope is no victim in all of this.

Who is everyone? Even Hope knew she was very wrong, but she hoped that Liam will show her the same grace that she showed him. Wyatt wanted Liam to work on things, but he never said that it wasn't wrong. He also knew Hope forgave Liam for almost being Steffy's baby daddy while being married to her.
It was way worse after Steffy slept with Bill. Wyatt, Ridge and initially even Bill told Liam to forgive Steffy for the ONS. Ridge basically blamed him and bullied him. There were never-ending demands and Taylor even shot his dad for it lol Now that was crazy pressure and ignoring Liam's feelings!

Everyone would be RJ, Wyatt, Hope and even Thomas who kept saying it was just a kiss and Hope would normally never do anything to jeopardize her marriage and family. Liam had to repeat again and again in detail how he knew it was way more than just a kiss. I think Hope kissed Tom in Rome because she felt even if Liam did find out he owed her forgiveness for when she tried to forgive him for the ONS with Steffy. Liam shut that idea down quick and stuck with his decision to divorce.

Lope were able to survive cheating when Liam did it so they probably thought it's fixable when Hope did it too. Those were few conversations and not months of Hope and her family begging and demanding or bullying him. There is no comparison. Liam was free to go without Brooke demanding him to man up and go back to Hope every 2 days.
