Thomas: I don't care what Finn is feeling (Spoilers)

Since Finn is supposedly part of the family, for now, I see it as cold hearted. Finn's feelings should be just as valid as Steffy's. They act like Finn is supposed to just push his feelings aside and be there for Steffy. Why can't Ridge and Thomas be there for Steffy until Finn heals a little from what he is feeling? There is such a thing as having empathy for both Steffy and Finn and being there for both of them, but the Forresters only think about themselves. They only care about Steffy.
