Why Does Hope Continue to Press Brooke? Spoiler mentioned (Spoilers)

I read in another post that Hope tries to convince Brooke Thomas has changed. Why???
First of all - he has not. He is still obsessed with Hope and he will do whatever to manipulate Hope into moving forward with him. What has changed other than Hope realizing Thomas is good in bed?
She asked him for a break he showed up at her house.
She said she wasn’t ready to move forward he proposes and buys a ring, then puts the ring around her neck like a flashing light. Who does that?
Brooke has ALWAYS been right about Thomas which is why he can’t stand her and will do something against her again.
And the way Hope has disrespected her mother about Thomas, why try to get her buy in?
He tried to break up Bridge many times.
He lied about Brooke’s grandchild being dead
He abused her grandson Douglass.
The CPS call should have been the last straw for everyone - but especially for Brooke! Suppose the police got her for filing a false report?
Hope just needs to handle her business and when Thomas flips - keep handling her own business!

It's very annoying unless this is triggered by Brooke plotting to break them up or something like that. I don't understand why we are here again. She hasn't disowned Hope. She just doesn't like her choice.

Exactly. I really haven’t seen Brooke or Hope get into some big fight about this. Yes, Brooke isn’t very happy about Hope’s choice, more concerned I think. Hope hasn’t been horrible to her mother. Has there actually been a huge fight over Thomas? I don’t remember any at least not what I call huge fights.
Unless Brooke does a complete turn around, Brooke will and has voiced her concerns but she is still going to support her daughter’s decision.
IMO more is being made out of this than what will actually happen
Brooke isn’t going to disown Hope, she will still be at the wedding, if there is one and she will always be on Hope’s side and support her. That is how Brooke is
