Why Does Hope Continue to Press Brooke? Spoiler mentioned (Spoilers)

I read in another post that Hope tries to convince Brooke Thomas has changed. Why???
First of all - he has not. He is still obsessed with Hope and he will do whatever to manipulate Hope into moving forward with him. What has changed other than Hope realizing Thomas is good in bed?
She asked him for a break he showed up at her house.
She said she wasn’t ready to move forward he proposes and buys a ring, then puts the ring around her neck like a flashing light. Who does that?
Brooke has ALWAYS been right about Thomas which is why he can’t stand her and will do something against her again.
And the way Hope has disrespected her mother about Thomas, why try to get her buy in?
He tried to break up Bridge many times.
He lied about Brooke’s grandchild being dead
He abused her grandson Douglass.
The CPS call should have been the last straw for everyone - but especially for Brooke! Suppose the police got her for filing a false report?
Hope just needs to handle her business and when Thomas flips - keep handling her own business!

If Thomas flips again, Hope will be running right back to Brooke. If Hope marries Thomas, Hope should move to Thomas' instead of moving Thomas onto Brooke's property. Brooke has already given Thomas chances before. She let him stay in her home while he was recovering from the brain bleed surgery. As soon as Mommie Dearest Taylor flew into town, Thomas repaid Brooke by destroying her marriage. Brooke is a very forgiving person but asking her to just forget everything Thomas did to her and trust him again if just too much.
