They walked a fine line with the Eric storyline. They never actually said JM was leaving. The one report of his contract being over was revealed to be false by the author. They blatantly tricked everyone with the TN though. At least then there weren't a bunch of obvious loose ends so nobody questioned it.

What did they do to trick everyone about TN? I can't remember.

He did a full-on exit interview with SOD on the Monday after Sheila shot him. They made it seem like he was really gone.

Really? They really tried to fool us like that? That's a plum shame. I don't remember it, but I can't remember why I never thought he was dead or would stay dead.

yep they sure did, they also removed him from the credits, they went to great lengths to fool the audience and some still didn't buy it lol

And I'm not buying this because it seems like the start of a SL, not the end. It's so dumb that we haven't seen Sheila in IDK how long, and all of a sudden she breaks out with this???

She has been on just as good behavior as Thomas, who hasn't even been tested. But we're to believe she suddenly flips and Steffy just stabs her. SMH
