what steffy did was self defense

I think it would be self-defense since "Sheila" broke into her home just like it would have been self-defense if Sheila would have killed Steffy when Steffy barged into Sheila's home and attacked her. Too bad Sheila didn't shoot Steffy at that time. I wish Sheila would have played it smart and pressed charges against Steffy instead of going to her house to attack her. I don't really think it was Sheila because I can't see Sheila standing still for someone to stab her. It would be more like Sheila to have pulled out a gun and shot from a distance or to have made a grab for the knife.

Sheila would have spoken up, too, and told Steffy she wasn't there to hurt her or something similar. She wouldn't just let Steffy stab her with a butcher knife.

If Steffy doesn't have a nervous breakdown after this one, then she's teflon, and Finn believing she has PTSD is wrong.

You are right, I think Sheila would have spoken up too. It didn't seem to bother Steffy after she killed Aly. Even though it was self-defense, most people would have had a hard time with it. After the funeral and Ivy deleted her phone footage, it was Aly who? Steffy forgot all about Aly and turned her attention to getting rid of Ivy so she wouldn't have competition for Liam.
