Is the person from Sheila's past Sugar?

Is it really Sheila who goes to Steffy's house or Sugar?

Help, who’s sugar?

She was the warden at the prison that Sheila was in after Taylor’s shooting. When Sheila realized she was pregnant, Sugar helped her escape then they went to South America together, where they kidnapped Ridge for ransom from Massimo. Years later, on Y&R, there was a story where Sugar had surgery to look like Sheila. We last saw her going to prison.
It would be unusual for them to use a Y&R story, and maybe they won’t and will make up their own backstory, but based on some hints, a doppelganger seems like a possibility.

i also know nothing about this person or story, why did she want to look like sheila? was she trying to frame her or something? and if so why, if they were friends?

I believe Sheila tricked her. They had all of the money from Massimo & she decided to get plastic surgery only to come out looking like Sheila. She took Sheila’s place in prison. So when Lauren went to the prison to make sure Sheila was there she was. She had been drugged up probably because she was ranting that it wasn’t her. It was really awful writing, to be honest. Lots of holes in the story.

Maybe Sugar escapes from prison and tried to set Sheila up for murder for revenge.
