The hypocrisy and stupidity

No she did not!... The only time Steffy "took up for Brooke" was when she found out that Brooke tried to protect her from Shelia and by Steffy's attitude she was not grateful. Steffy used the information about the spiked alcohol to justify stalking and assaulting Shelia, not because of what was done to Brooke. She could have cared less. She never ever, went to Brooke and apologize to her or thank her for putting the Finn/Steffy first.

Steffy still continued to bash Brooke and she never went to Brooke to apologize for screwing up her life... In fact the witch gleefully kicked Brooke when she was down in Aspen with her bashing. She sure did not take up for Brooke when she found out what Thomas did with CPS. Even though she told Ridge what Thomas did, she continued to bash Brooke to Ridge and expected him to marry Taylor anyway.

Steffy is all about flapping her gums. She sets the rules for the world to follow but exempts herself from those rules... That is hypocrisy in the first degree.

I disagree on pretty much every count. And Steffy did take up for Brooke, then, and also with the CPS call. She stopped the wedding, and she didn't expect anything. She said that if Ridge knew the truth and still opted to marry Taylor, it would be a decision that was based on real love and not manipulations and lies. We haven't seen Steffy bash Brooke for a long time.
