The hypocrisy and stupidity

When Bill was chasing Brooke during his battle against Katie, Steffy saw Bill kiss Brooke and she ran to Ridge. At that time she was upset that Brooke did not tell Ridge. Well Liam has done the same with her. Has she come clean with Finn? NO.
Liam saying Steffy will not be safe as long as she is married to Finn. Okay so if Steffy divorced Finn will she also need to let go of Hayes? Hayes is Sheila's grandson. If Finn and Steffy break up that would be worse Sheila will become more fixated with her grandson.

I agree on the Hayes issue unless we get a paternity change. When Steffy got involved in exposing Brooke’s “cheating” (I’m thinking about Deacon spending the night, actually) she thought it was something it wasn’t and was protective of her father. Her suspicion about something going on between Brooke and Deacon was wrong. Deacon should not have been at the house in the first place imo but that’s another issue. Anyway, if someone saw or overheard talk about the kisses Liam planted on her they could very well do the same and maybe someone still will. The thing is in her own case Steffy knows the kisses from Liam meant nothing to her. Why would she make the relationship between Finn and Liam even worse than it is by bringing up something that’s (currently) meaningless? I don’t find that hypocritical, personally.

Protective of her father? Or trying to snag Brooke's husband for her mother?
