So Ridge goes to see Hope and pressures her to marry Thomas by telling her that if she doesn’t feel the same way about Thomas that he feels about her, it will crush Thomas! He tells Hope what a remarkable man Thomas is and tells her he’d be happy to have her as a daughter-in-law

Now I’m going by the recap, but what the hell!?!!!

Ridge reminded me of a high pressure used car salesman today, trying to dump his clunker off on somebody else. Every time Thomas tells Hope that he has changed for her, to be worthy of her makes me cringe. If Thomas really changed, he would have done it for himself and to be a better person whether it involved Hope or not.

Well...Tom is a clunker and Ridge has been trying to dump that lemon off on Hope for years and years.
