So once again Ridge wants to pull the plug on Eric? What is his problem with Eric continuing to live?

He will always be second banana in the fashion world if Eric is alive. It is time for Eric's blood children to step in and get a court order against Massimo's son.

I'm not seeing anything that proves that Ridge feels that way and would prefer his father dead. Ridge is no less of his child than any of his other kids. He even told Stephanie that Ridge was the greatest gift she ever gave him.,

There are clues like he's "forced to make the most difficult decision of his life." "Bridget and Thorne advocate against Ridge." "Ridge struggles with his choice as Eric takes a turn for the worse."

I don't think Ridge wants Eric dead, I think he can't stand to see him suffering and feels there's no hope, so why prolong the pain? But it's shaping up to be a "Ridge wants to pull the plug" again. Not so he can be king of FC, but to save Eric what he thinks is needless pain.
