It just doesn't make sense - Eric isn't the only one handling the fabric, lace - what about the seamstress that works with the fabric to make the dress. Something isn't adding up.

He could be allergic, or his other health issues & age could make him more vulnerable. I am extremely allergic to mold and dust mites. Neither is good for anyone, but I get severe rashes and asthma when exposed.

I also wonder if the Dr could be someone getting revenge or something like that. I don't know I just feel like this storyline is excessively dumb, like the Bill/Ridge sting story, and in the end, it was dumb because it wasn't legal, and it was meant to be ridiculous.
