Probably because he wanted to see Steffy and Taylor happy. He doesn’t know Brooke so I am not surprised he would side with Taylor who has been supportive of him over Brooke.

Bill/Steffy: Happened before he met Steffy. It’s kind of like how Nick was like “whatever” about Breacon.

I’m glad he’s not always questioning her like Liam did. Liam seemed to me to side with Ivy when all that was going down.

And the Sheila thing, he didn’t want Steffy’s mom to go to jail.

Liam should have sided with Ivy as Steffy was being a bullying witch to Ivy and was causing problems. As for simply not wanting someone to have to go to jail, that is just wrong on all counts. Taylor shot a man in the back and left him bleeding out to die. She is lucky he did not die. No one needs to cover for her. She is a grown up and needs to answer for attempted murder. I look down on Finn for being okay with that.
