I am not a writer but isn’t this an easy fix?

• Write exciting stories within the soaps history.
  
• Don’t be so obvious about demonizing characters to hold up others.
  
• Eliminate redundant dialogue.
  
• There’s got to be more to a couples trials and tribulations than the same problems with same people.
  
• Villains who don’t evolve naturally are boring. The change can’t be so far fetched that it is unbelievable.

Don’t put a young woman in bed with the evil monster who kept her baby from her.
