Is the story advancing, in your opinion?

I feel like the story is not advancing, like we are stuck in quicksand. Anyone else feel that way? It's been dragging and dragging.

I assume it's all one, big story, right? Except now we have Eric's story, but for the most part what has even happened in this SL? I feel like nothing has happened for months. I need something to happen and I need an advancement forward.

So far, Hope is in limbo as she has been for months. Thomas, too. Liam, too. Steffy and Finn also. Just limbo, limbo, limbo.

I think the stall is because of JMW's impending maternity leave. But the story has advanced very little. Of late the show has been only telling one story at a time, with different legs as opposed to the old shows having two main plots and one minor one going all at the same time. It was more exciting and made viewing easier for fan who liked certain stories but achieved overall great viewership. Why did that change?

All I know is I don't want Sinn to break up. I don't want Liam to get Steffy. I want Hope to find herself and be done with taking crumbs from Liam the little puke. And I want Liam all alone for a good bit.
