Observations about today...

A number of things stood out for me today that were weird. Almost the entire interaction between Hope and Thomas was underscored by creepy music. It was unsettling. Thomas stopped the Thope kiss, looked down at Hope's rings, moved her away from him and stared at Hope. It was because of this that Hope removed her rings. Add to that the off putting sounds that accompanied the removal of her rings. Hope came across as manic/depressive today, almost like she was two different people. Self degrading and irrational and then boom all over Thomas. As much as Hope was talking, Thomas was dictating her actions. It was all so orchestrated. And, what was with the candles. Where did they come from? As well, there are differences in the room Brooke walks into on Thursday and Thomas' bedroom. This could simply be an editing inconsistency, but it's strange that it was so noticeable.

As an aside, poor AN stumbled when she kicked her shoes off. Good for her for keeping the scene going.

I didn't see any of that. I saw Thomas pump the brakes. I saw Hope remind herself that Liam asked for a divorce. I saw her take off ring and go after the man she's been wanting for months like she's never gone after a man before. I didn't find the music creepy either.

Hey. No worries. It's all relative. I'm a music person. It's a thing for me when the visual doesn't mesh with what I'm hearing. Given the posts I read before watching the episode, I was expecting intensity and excitement, instead I got the Shining vibes.

I am like you, music dictates the total vibe and mood of a scene for me. I have not watched yet, but for Taker I will watch as objectively as I can.

I am watching now and typing during commercials. I am FF'd through the Sheila stuff right now.

Hope is all in and smiling when she leans in to kiss Tom again, and he stops her and asks what they are doing, then she does a 180 and is all agitated and saying she does not know what she is doing, that she has destroyed her marriage....it was a total change of facial expressions. She calls herself a bad person and Tom starts blowing smoke up her skirt.

I find it interesting that Wyatt is saying things to Liam about not making a rash choice or doing something stupid to quickly, while Hope is with Tom, doing something rash and too quickly.

Hope is going on about the look in Liam's eye's, the disappointment and about their family and how she messed it all up....and again, Tom is saying "stop blaming yourself"....which is BS, because she is to blame. A real friend would say...."yeah you screwed up, but maybe you should not do anything rash now and sit back and give it some thought" ....instead he says "we will get through this".....well it ain't about YOU Tom, it is about Lope. He said he would always be there for her, which is exactly what she wants to hear, after destroying her family. When he says that, if you look at her face, she looks panicked and not sure of anything. Hope is truly like a split personality so far in this episode. She is all sultry and smiling, then panicked and devastated that she destroyed her marriage and family. It just went to commercial and she looks so confused.

Back from break.....Tom asks about Liam and Steffy...smart move if you are trying to control the narrative....and Hope says the last thing Liam said to her was he was going after Steffy....which is not true. Then Tom tells her he will not judge her.....who doesn't want to hear that after they just got caught cheating on their spouse? LOL Ok I am at the part where he tells her he cannot do this....then looks down at the ring....and looks at her....and she looks sick, and freaked....then it went to commercial again. BTW, the music is porn music and it is ominous and IMHO is setting the mood for what is coming and I don't mean the sex. LOL. Also, if anyone is interested watch and stop the frame when Tom looks down at the ring and back at her....he has a slight smirk on his face and a glint in his eye....it is so minute it was probably just something humorous between MA and AN.

So Hope walks away from Tom looking devastated, and talks about Liam putting the ring on her finger, etc. But she says he could not make the compromises she had to make for their marriage and all I can say is....self absorbed much Hope? What does she think Liam has been doing the last 4 months of her Tom BS? She says our marriage is over, she looks devastated, then resolved, then like a whole different personality took over. I am really starting to believe that AM got her wish and this is a split personality SL. I think I am going to start calling her Hope and Dope. It seemed like Dope took over in the end, and ripped his shirt off and her dress off and had to have it. I wonder what Hope is going to think when they get caught and Dope goes silent? LOL. I think it is Liam that catches them. I wonder if the porn funk will still be playing when whomever catches them comes in that door.

BTW, did Tom have those candles hid up his rear when they came in that room, because I didn't notice them before.
