Lightbulb moment re Hope

I think Liam had a lightbulb moment. Hope doesn’t love him and hasn’t for a while. If she had any love for him, she wouldn’t have aggressively thrown herself at Thomas in a public setting. Why fight for a woman who isn’t in love with him. Why fight for a woman who wants the man who intentionally bullied and threatened others to prevent them from finding their stolen daughter. It took Hope a while, but Liam is the first to realize that breaking up frees them of that misery.

I think the same thing....Liam is being wise here, who in the world would want a person that did not want them? I thought he was looking at her as you say....that they will always have some love for each other, but why bother to go on, when she is cheating and gaslighting him without remorse? I think he said it perfect when he told her that the Hope he knew stood for values, integrity and character, and this woman in front of him, stood for none of those things. And that she must be broken inside. I got the vibe that Liam realized he had been in love with someone who did not exist....and now he is just tired of pretending she existed, when he can blatantly see, she never really did. I know he has heartache this week because Hope files quickly for a divorce so she can not feel so guilty about her cheating....but I want him to be resolute, that Hope is bad news now, and has been for some time, and he does not need anymore of her lies and excuses about the man that hated their child and wanted her to be dead to them. The only bad thing now about this is Beth. Poor Beth is going to be stuck with that monster than wanted her dead, in her life. That is horrible. Maybe they will soras the kids fast and make Beth 14, and have her despise Tom, much like Allie despised Taylor for killing her mother and lying about it and moving in on her dad.
