Lightbulb moment re Hope

So many of us seem baffled by Hope’s behavior but listening to the dialogue I think I understand her inner turmoil and why she kissed Thomas. For years she has known that she does not have Liam’s 100 percent loyalty and devotion. On top of that her rival is also her boss. Hope always came across that she had the perfect marriage but she knew that Liam always carried a torch for his ex and due to his child with Steffy they would always be intertwined. To add to this Steffy would many times flaunt her power over Hope at Forrester and be downright nasty. I think to a degree Hope felt shackled to a man that she did love but knew that he was not fully committed to her. In the back of Hope’s mind Liam’s attraction to Steffy was a constant and the hammer could drop at any time. Then there was Thomas who unlike Liam worshipped the ground she walked on. For Thomas, Hope was his muse and no woman could ever compare. Hope was well aware how deeply Thomas loved her and only her. Regarding the misdeeds of Thomas I can only assume that Hope is convinced that he completely changed. She might also think his bad behavior was due to the brain tumor he had. I think Friday’s episode spoke volumes. Liam saying he is thinking of Steffy and Hope in turn admitting that she wants a man who wants only her. I don’t think this turnabout was sudden for Hope. It’s been simmering for years and now the dam broke open.
