"It didn't matter to Hope"

Steffy told Thomas that it didn't matter to Hope that he turned his life around. Why does she think that Hope is responsible for Thomas's mental health? Hope is responsible for Hope and Thomas is responsible for Thomas. Hope isn't doing so well herself when it comes to mental health. Who is responsible for her? Steffy? :drunk I want Steffy to have the same energy for her bestie Liam Spencer. He knew how obsesses she was with him for over a decade and he still decided to kiss her two times. He didn't care that she is married. Actually Liam going after Steffy could do the exact same harm as Hope kissing Thomas.

It demonstrates to me that Hope doesn’t really care about Thomas. As I’ve said before, I firmly believe everyone is responsible for their own actions, but I still wouldn’t hand a drink to an alcoholic who was trying to stay sober….and that’s any alcoholic, not just an alcoholic who was my friend, someone I might be in love with, or a coworker.

Truth is, Hope actually does care about Tom...she may not be deeply in love but she certainly didn´t try to derail him, or play with his feelings.
She has feelings herself, just doesn´t understand them. But she is not playing him.

The minute Hope said to Thomas on the plane after spending the previous day with him kissing and laughing and sightseeing and holding hands in the city of eternal love that he's to never say a word about what happened and that what they did was to stay in Rome and that she was going home to her husband and family, she was playing him.
