Poor Hope

She's clearly got feelings for Thomas but she's afraid to just admit it and embrace them because her mother has spent the last few months relentlessly shaming the idea. Now Hope is left terrified of the judgment and is at least in part fighting for her marriage because she's still uncomfortable owning her feelings. That's a terrible way for Brooke to mother.

First, she did admit it. Hope admitted she had feelings for Thomas to her mother. Then she told her mother there was nothing to worry about because she could control of them.

So it's untrue that hope is afraid to admit her feelings because Brooke has been shaming her. Brooke is not even been shaming her. Brooke has just been trying to find out what was going on with her. And, she was the one shaming Brooke for Brookes behavior.

Next, hope admitted to Liam that she has feelings for thomas. She told Liam that she didn't know why she had those feelings for Thomas and she didn't want to feel those things for Thomas.

Hope can fight for her marriage if she wants to. She can fight for it whether she has feelings for Thomas or not. It would be the exact same way that Quinn fought for her marriage to Eric. If that's what hope chooses, that's what she chooses.

Brooke is not to blame for any of this.
