Does Steffy ever Reflect ...

Throughout life, most people reflect back on their past and the wrong things they have done, which for the most part humbles them. I wonder if Steffy ever does this? If so, she would know she is not little Miss Perfect and stop blaming others for their faults and mistakes. Steffy really needs to step back, get off her high horse, and think of ways she can change to be a better person. There are so many flawed characters on B&B, yet Steffy acts as if she is the only one who has done nothing, ever. Even if sleeping with Bill (her father-in-law at the time) was her one and only transgression, that in itself trumps almost anything else others have done on this show IMO. She shows no remorse or guilt over anything. This is why I cannot stand the character of Steffy Forrester Finnegan.

I don’t feel a hurt and angry Steffy having a ONS with Bill who tracked her down at her grandfather’s trumps the months long emotional affair and Rome tryst with Thomas that was initiated by Hope, but that’s another topic. Either way, Steffy did actually show guilt and remorse — immediately after the Bill ONS and again this year. The morning after she woke up with a start, saw Bill and remembered what happened, and before running out of there called it wrong, a mistake, and something that never should have happened over his protests. When she told Finn about it this year she called it a “moment of weakness that I’ll always regret”. Steffy has every reason to be incensed over Hope’s actions and be disgusted by her now. Hope directly lied to Steffy’s face multiple times when she expressed concern about Thomas potentially backsliding if she showed interest in him (something that as of yesterday looks like selfish Hope couldn’t care less about). Steffy (and Kelly) lost Liam to Hope who had told Liam she was so much better than Steffy because she would never cheat on him like Steffy did….and yet Hope just did exactly that in all her “goodness, honesty and trustworthiness”. Despite having constant praise of her morality heaped on her by every other character on the show she has really always been a “me, me, me” girl who wants what she wants when she wants it without regard for anyone around her. Hopefully Thomas will finally see her for what she really is and never look back. Otherwise one day he too could find himself annulled at will like Liam did when Hope decided she wanted another man’s child. You never know. The only sure thing is that the saps around her will still be singing her praises.

Bill and Steffy had an emotional affair for months. Anytime she got upset with Liam she ran to Bill. She also told Bill she was at her grandfather's knowing he would come there. She admitted she had feelings for him or she wouldn't have slept with. Steffy didn't stop at a kiss, she had sex with Bill then went home to Liam and renewed her vows. Sad thing is she still blamed Hope for her marriage failing. Hope was terribly depressed when she decided that Kelly and Beth needed him and he should be with Steffy. It wasn't about Douglas (especially since she has him and married to Liam). Hope is trashed as much as Brooke by the Forresters. Her family like most families think the best of her not that she never messes up. She just hasn't lied and schemed to get a man to marry her, she didn't think date rape would be cool, didn't beg a married man to her on the dirty floor, she didn't have to say pretend to be another person to try and get sex. Steffy refuses to accept she has flaws as was shown when Bill reminded her of all their scheming to get Liam. She thinks she is prefect just like Taylor. I'm really hoping someone snapped a picture of Liam and Steffy kissing in Rome.

Steffy has owned her mistakes. Ridge tried to put it all on Bill, but Steffy owned that she'd made a huge mistake. ALSO Steffy specifically did not tell Bill where she was:

Steffy: [ Sighs ] Hey.

Bill: How's our pious little choir boy doing?

Steffy: Ask him. I'm not in the mood to talk.

Bill: You okay? You sound upset.

Steffy: Look, I don't want to get into it, okay?

Bill: Something happen with liam?

Steffy: [ Sighs ] Yeah. We, uh... we got in a fight.

Bill: Over what?

Steffy: I don't know. I don't -- I got to go, bill. I can't do this right now.

Bill: Are you at home?

Steffy: No. Look, I -- honestly, I don't want to talk right now.
