the right thing for who though? for hope? because for liam the damage may have already been done by then
1. she has feelings for the man that kept their daughter from them (liam hasn't forgotten this)
2. she did nothing to mitigate or stop them from growing
3. she lied to him repeatedly about it when he asked

i'm not sure a hook up matters at all, if hope allows liam to find out about these feelings some other way, the fallout will still be bad

It was predicted there would be fallout when she married Thomas. And when she adopted Douglas. It's always turned out that it was just angst.

There was fallout when Liam cheated on her in the mannequin story. They got past that. I don't think this will be the end of Lope. Even if Hope does hook up with Thomas.
