It’s not a romantic story

I do not see how the show creates some great romance out of what we’ve seen over the past few weeks. I don’t care how much energy people see in Hope and Thomas, I still don’t experience some great romance. In fact, this story seems very tragic. It’s one thing for Hope to become a bad girl who wants to explore her sexuality. It’s another thing for Hope to be deceptive, manipulative, and to throw people off track, she throws others under the bus. If loving Thomas turns Hope into that kind of person, how does it become a romantic entertainment?

Because people see it differently. Personally I am indifferent to Thope and don’t see it as a great romance but forbidden love in general is exciting. You see someone willing to risk it all for a connection they can’t resist.

And while she is lying about her attraction she hasn’t acted on it. Soap characters behave questionably they are deceptive. Why does Hope have to be perfect? They don’t have her having sex with Thomas on the desk at the office. She has had a few fantasies and held his hand for too long. Hope is wrong and should no longer be working with Thomas and she has also been nasty to Brooke but she isn’t meant to be perfect.
