At the beginning of the week Hope was a wreck in tears at the idea that she might've hurt Thomas with what she said to placate her mother. It clearly hurt her deeply to think she had hurt him. She showed the exact same type of emotion with Liam today for largely the same reasons. The idea of hurting him, hurt her. There's the proof that Hope is IN LOVE with BOTH of these men.

Agree Lynnsmom! That is proof of confusion.
She didn’t want to hurt Thomas - no.
This is Hope and I actually think she is confusing gratefulness with love.
Liam - she loves. Period.
