When will Deacon's part be exposed?

Why does Deacon's part have to be exposed? Will it affect the story as it is? Other characters have never been exposed about some of the things they have done.

I would agree if Sheila were gone. But I think repeatedly lying to your daughter's face does affect the story especially when the players are still on the canvas.

I am trying to think of examples of secrets that have never been exposed. Thomas drugged Liam but he did so many nasty things to them that I don't know that them knowing about that would make a difference in the story.
