Ratings are down

According to the latest ratings the total number of viewers are down by 374,000 from this time last year. People are just not tuning in to see the Hope/Thomas/Liam snooze fest or Brook and Taylor being bffs. This show needs new storylines fast.

It isn't just B&B though, so it shouldn't be attributed to these current SL in particular. The ratings are widely down from last week and down from last week for Y&R and GH. Soaps are a dying genre, (most) young viewers have moved on to other things.

I don’t think young uns would ever watch a soap operas …
