This all makes sense to me except - what pact?
I guess it was one of those days I deleted! LOL

A pact to always be honest with each other and transparent about anything to do with Ridge. Some people think that means Ridge is hands off to both women....that was not the pact. Hope and Katie want to MAKE that the pact, which says more about them than it does about the "pact". I think Hope and Katie want Brooke to be without the man she calls her destiny. Which would kind of explain what is going on with Hope right now. Her unconscious resentment of her mother, is manifesting itself in her interest in Tom....Ridge's son. Katie also seems to not want Brooke to be happy with Ridge, she too has ulterior motives. She probably still resents Brooke and Bill, and Katie was once engaged with Ridge herself, and unlike her sister, could not close the deal. Katie was pushing Bill to go after Brooke...testing him....yet seeming to want Brooke to take him so that she, Katie, does not have to be the bad guy by turning him down. Katie and Hope seem to NEED Brooke to be the bad guy, to make themselves and their own bad choices seem alright. JMO

The days that I have watched it seems like the pact was not to mess with Ridge.
I saw the episode where Taylor said - I am done and Brooke said she was not sure. She could not let go so easily if someone she loved all of her life, but that she would not accept this behavior from Ridge again.
And I do remember them saying they would not allow Ridge to come between them. - yes!
Hope acting all crazy was out of line and over the top.
