They did the obligatory making out stuff and then he was outta there.

There are just too many things foreshadowing Steffy being involved in the Hope/Liam/Thomas story to ignore, IMO. I don't know if there will be cheating, a realignment of the couples, or some kind of manipulation, but there is a reason Finn got a promotion, and a reason why Liam and Steffy have had several conversations about the same topic.

Liam used to talk to Brooke about Thomas. So much so that rumors were swirling that the two of them would hook up. Now it's scene after scene of Liam and Steffy, with Finn being removed from the situation via his new position at work. I don't know what we're getting, but we're getting...something.

It probably won't happen, but I'd like Finn to get out of this mess. Fiffy never really addressed the ONS thing. We know Liam slept with Steffy because he thought Hope spent the night with Thomas, but they never discussed why Steffy slept with him, let alone why she was so quick to believe she and Liam were going to reunite. She didn't think Finn was cheating on her so there can only be one explanation. I will never take Finn seriously as long as he is with Steffy. But I like the actor. If only he could ditch Steffy and find true love with a woman who doesn't settle for him and control him, I would enjoy his character a lot more.

Agree 100% on that point. Finn even point blank asked her if she would still be with him if Liam was available and she never answered him.

Yes she did. He told her that he would not be just a distraction from her complicated feelings regarding Hope and Liam. He point blank asked her WHY she wanted to be with him and pressed her for an answer. She said there were a million reasons and he in no uncertain terms said that it could not be just because Liam was unavailable. I don't know where this narrative is that he just folded like a souffle. He did not. They talked it out like adults. He asked the questions that needed to be asked and he accepted her answers.

I don't remember it that way.

I looked up the transcripts. That's the way it happened.

I gotta disagree.

Finn: But why do you wanna be with me, steffy?

Steffy: I can think of a million reasons why.

Finn: It can't be because liam's not available.

Steffy: It's--it's not. I like who I am when I'm with you. Like when you hold me as I fall asleep, how gentle and kind you are with your patients knowing that you will drop anything to take care of someone. I feel safe with you. I love the way you listen to my daughter and you make her feel like the most important person in the world. You make me feel that way, too. I want that for this child, for our child.

Wouldn't a more satisfying answer have been for her to say, "It's you I want and you I love. Not Liam. I got caught up in something because I was drinking but I'm over him for good."? Not, "I like who I am when I'm with you."

Instead she talked about how he holds her when she falls asleep and how gentle and kind he is. How safe he makes her feel and how good he is for her child. That was no where close to being convincing that she was over Liam.

And then he gave her a pass and blamed it all on Liam. I mean, she was going to ditch Finn and get back with Liam until she learned he wasn't going to leave Hope. I wonder what he would have thought if he knew that.
