They did the obligatory making out stuff and then he was outta there.

There are just too many things foreshadowing Steffy being involved in the Hope/Liam/Thomas story to ignore, IMO. I don't know if there will be cheating, a realignment of the couples, or some kind of manipulation, but there is a reason Finn got a promotion, and a reason why Liam and Steffy have had several conversations about the same topic.

Liam used to talk to Brooke about Thomas. So much so that rumors were swirling that the two of them would hook up. Now it's scene after scene of Liam and Steffy, with Finn being removed from the situation via his new position at work. I don't know what we're getting, but we're getting...something.

Baring the standalone episode (has no bearing on the development of the storylines), it's totally platonic though. I have seen many inappropriate moments between Leffy over the years, but I don't see it right now. All they talk about is Thomas and whether or not he has changed. If they stark talking about their past or gazing into each other's eyes like Thope, I will start to worry but right now, their scenes are ALL about Thomas. With Hope's encouragements, by the way.

Of course we all know it can change fast. If tomorrow Bell wants Leffy to kiss or start fantasizing about each other, all it takes is the stroke of the pen, I'm aware. It will be interesting to see the development until the Italy episodes.

I'm more clueless about FInn's role in this. I think more and more that he will fault with Sheila. She will get out of prison and he will do something. If they make Steffy waffle, they will give her an excuse.

I wouldn't expect Liam and Steffy to be making googly eyes at each other at this time in the story. I'm not even suggesting that they'll get back together. What I'm saying is that the groundwork may be being laid for a story that involves all of them. Minus Finn. It feels like Finn is being neutralized.
