Thomas is a psycho. He's enjoying every minute with Hope. He's storing all of this up so he can pick up the pieces and be her savior when Liam leaves her. Liam tends to jump and react before he thinks.
He's hiding it better again.
His parents are so gullible and stupid. Yes they are his parents but they are enabling him. Eventually when he really hurts someone ( and he will) his stupid parents can share the blame.

Hope could make him a better man and the show less dull….

It isn't up to Hope to make him a better man. It isn't up to ANYONE to make that fool a better man. It is up to Thomas to BE a better man. Hope does not deserve to be stuck with her stalker who abused his own child. That is just gross.
