Will Deacon get immunity like Taylor did?

I agree about Taylor, but I'm still not ready to jump in the Deacon bandwagon. I will hold everyone to the same standards.
When Thomas said the truth about Vinny's death it didn't redeem him. When Flo donated the kidney for Katie it didn't redeem her. When Sheila saved Stephanie or Taylor's life it didn't redeem her. When Bill saved Liam from the Spectra explosion it didn't redeem him. Even evil people can do good things every once in a while. It doesn't make them changed person overnight. Years of bad actions can't be wiped out by one good action.

I won't treat Deacon differently. It's quite clear his change of heart about Sheila is recent. He was as surprised as everyone else when he first learnt Sheila was alive. Everyone else believed she was dead, he was the only person who knew the truth and he witheld it until recently. He claims he loves Brooke but he still protected the woman who messed with her sobriety. He claims he loves his daughter but he let his girlfriend Lina stand in front of her and made a fool of Hope. I don't want him in jail but I don't want to see him anywhere near Hope or Brooke either.
