Hope looks hurt and shocked, and spoilers say Douglas finds his voice. I think he wrote his feelings and who he wants to live with. And maybe it ain't Hope, maybe he wants to live with his dad.

It would be strange writing to give Douglas back to Thomas after all the horrible things he did and after he abused him. In the long term, though, I hope he does wind up back with him. Hope will be devastated, of course, but she would get over it and then she would be free of that psycho Thomas.
