I am torn. On the one hand, considering all of the crap Ridge has done over the years, it seems excessive. Ridge is going so hard on him because he doesn't want to acknowledge his role in this mess. I don't recall Ridge being fired when he schemed to keep Thomas away from his son.
I do, however, understand the idea that he got away with so much around the baby Beth story that everyone has had it with him. Steffy also isn't innocent in this..

I can understand you being toward for the reasons you listed. But the one thing that makes me not feel sorry for Thomas is the whole baby Bethsituation. And then his father supported him and he got away with that AND what happened with Emma. Yet he still came back for more to do more damage and to do more harm. It’s time for him to pay the piper and maybe he’ll learn something from it.
