If that’s the case, they’d better make her more likable.

Right? She's too mean to be the leading lady. And the whole last year she was written like a toddler. Stopping the wedding doesn't suddenly make her a good character...although, they really threw Thomas and Taylor under the bus to try to make her look good.

Exactly! Nasty mean girls like Taylor and Steffy with dastardly Thomas are villains, but show needs both villains and heroes/heroines. I don't know what a girl in a cabin has to do with anything, but Lope are loved.

Yeah, it makes no sense to me. Hope and Liam and Brooke have lots of fans. I have no idea why where they live should matter.
